Assassination Classroom Episode 1 暗殺教室 Anime Review

A very unique anime 

I decided to watch this anime at the very last moment and much to my surprise, it was the best decision ever! The term "Assassination" caught my eye just after watching Death Parade. So, every other anime reminds us about some other anime at some point and that's absolutely normal. Weather its a character or a whole plot, but that's not the case here. This anime is very unique which is hard to find these days and at the same time, it's a lot interesting than what the OP might portray ( what's up with troll OPs this season? ).

Koro-Sensei 

The story begins after 70% of the moon was suddenly vaporized in an explosion. The super lifeform responsible for this catastrophe is a strange tentacled creature that can slink around at supersonic Mach 20 speeds. It has a 10 billion yen (US$100 million) price on its head, but for some reason, this creature ends up teaching a middle school class at the beginning of the school year. The students have until graduation to assassinate the teacher, or it will destroy Earth as well.

Look out for the Knife!

It's humorous and action-packed story which introduces us to a class of misfits who are trying to kill their new teacher – an alien octopus with bizarre powers and super strength! What makes things more complicated is that he's the best teacher they've ever had! The animation was good, though character layout may seem a little different but its welcomed. OST for the most part was good as well.


Overall it was a very enjoyable episode with a really interesting story. I'm sure I'll be watching and covering this series, oh I almost forgot, this anime has a OVA as well which I found out later, I plan on watching that soon.
