Aldnoah.Zero Season 2 Episode 4 アルドノア・ゼロ Anime Review

WOLF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING

This whole episode for the most part had one main objective which is to show us, our main characters' shift or change in personalities compared to the previous season. I mean besides that predictable Inaho saves everyone again scene, the whole focus of this episode was on personality change. Also, Marito returns in this episode, it's really sad they just left him out considering the amount of build up he had and he could've been used in a more appropriate angle with Saazbaum cause of whole drama portrayed between between these two characters and Saazbaum's wife, so I really wonder in which direction his character is gonna develop from now on.

Moving back to our main topic, the personality change. Anyone who saw Inaho in the first season probably thought at some point that he lacks human emotions and now for some reason ever since Slaine shot him, he's showing more human emotions. Right off the start of the episode we get to see him trying to pull the blanket to cover his sister who has been by his side after his surgery, the amount of emotions he shows in this scene alone is twice as much compared to the entire first season! On contrast, Slaine, following the wise words of Saazbaum as shown in the pic, wiped out the entire trident base by himself, I mean whoa, that's really impressive. Not only he outclassed the base but he smartly looked into the security and stuff and caught them off guard. As a result, everyone from workers to other Counts started respecting him and more importantly started trusting him cause only someone on their side could pull off such a murderous act against terrains. Still I for one think he's still hiding or planning something else, like he's a wolf hiding in sheep's clothing and not showing his true colors. Really interesting development here of his character in this episode.

Besides that, one of the Count is captured, he looked scared to begin with and didn't wanted to destroy the Earth but instead use it's resources as he's shown discussing it with other Counts. Interesting to note how his mech could control or manipulate gravitational waves and use it to create a tornado, that's badass. A good episode overall, music was superb as usual and animation was top notch. Thank you for reading this anime review, have a wonderful day or night wherever you live! Death Parade Episode 4 デス・パレード Anime Review

Death ARCADE

A quick theory-crafting regarding those mannequins or dolls shown in the second episode before I dive in. This is something that I should have mentioned in my last review but still, never too late right? So those mannequins, I'm pretty sure those have more meaning to than just being Decim's hobby. So what's the connection here? I think those mannequins are human souls or may have human souls trapped in them. Sounds bizarre but think about it, Firstly, Onna was introduced to us who came outta nowhere and she has few months to prove something as Nonaginta said. Secondly, remember how those mannequins were hanged in that room by strings? now go check the opening video of this series and see towards the end how Decim catches Onna as she falls with strings attached to her. So perhaps, Onna is actually one of the mannequin made by Decim or something similar maybe that's why he seems surprised whenever Onna says something correct but goes against his ideology cause he's not human. Again, this is just a general idea, I might be right or terribly wrong. So with that off my chest, lets move on to this week's episode.

What a emotionally charged episode, like straight out the most emotional episode of this series so far. After watching this episode two things are pretty much clear. Firstly, two people who enter in here may or may not know each other which is something that was confirmed in the OVA as well. Secondly, suicide won't send you to hell or void. So up first is a guy who's pretty much a shut-in otaku and had a tragic life. His real mother who divorced his father hasn't contacted him in years and he doesn't seem to accept his step-mother even though it's her dream for him to call her "mom" and accept her, this is one of his guilty side revealed later. On the other hand we got a lady who is in her mid 30s, though not a lot about her is revealed from the back story but from what it seems is that she really cared about her five children at the same time didn't show enough affection towards them and a lot of men left her, as she mentioned how her whole life everyone has deceived her and so on. I think those children may have different father as judging by her personality she couldn't hang on to one man kinda looked like cheated along the way and those men kept using and abusing her and maybe that's why she had that backlash against her children.

Midway through the episode, Decim pulls out a deice which triggers some form of a problem so that the reaction which it produces from our guests can be used from making the final judgement. Really interesting and mind-boggling at the same time cause basically Decim is actually instigating them or forcing a reaction out of them hence to show the darkness of their soul and it really worked here. When Decim used the trigger on our main male character and that joystick popped out, he pretty much didn't react as much as our main female character. He just covered it up by saying that he purposely started playing good as oppose to their original plan in which he was suppose to lose in the second round so as to make the game more more realistic. On the other hand when our main female character was put through the same test, she drew out her darker side under the fear of losing and lost her patience, the smashing our main male character's face on the screen repeatedly to a point where he was unconscious. Interesting to note how Onna didn't agree with such forceful method to pull out a reaction and threw that device on the floor. In the end, the game ended as a draw.

But the true beauty of this episode sets in towards the end. The male character actually committed suicide cause he was sick of everything and was now in tears as he felt guilty of not being able to even grant such a simple wish as mentioned above though his step-mom tried her best to get along with him. On the other hand, now this is very interesting, out main female character wanted to go back to the real world as she had just found the happiness, which possibly may have sent her to hell or void. The main female character, as a mother should have found happiness when she gave birth to her very first child but she completely neglected her children and just didn't show any affection towards them until their life was turned into a reality series or something which made her popular. I assume based on reaction she is likely to have gone to hell or void and our male character to heaven unless there's a twist. Overall, another brilliant episode, really like how they touch such sensitive and controversial topics.

Thank you for reading this anime review, I know it's little late as the episode was actually delayed but anyway have a wonderful day or night wherever you live! Thoughts? let me know in the comments below. Links to this episode and 1080p version of the 3rd episode of Assassination classroom are available in download section

Tokyo Ghoul √A Episode 4 東京喰種√A Anime Review

CENTIPEDE-CHAN

After watching this episode, the previous episode in comparison definitely had that "calm before the storm" vibe to it. But I'm not surprised to see all the action we got in this episode, rather it is the excellent execution the stood out. If its really true that Ishida-Sensei is actually directing this season unlike the previous one, then hats off to him so far, brilliant job.

The whole focus of this episode was based on the Aogiri tree attacking the Cochlea as mentioned in my previous review. At the start this episode Yoshitoki, the Bureau Director of CCG's main office is revealed to have decided to return to front-line under chairman's order. Besides that we are given Amon's sad back-story. He was an orphan at an orphanage ran by Donata Porpora, a ghoul and Donata basically ate most of the orphans but for some strange reason left out Amon, shocked, when he found out the truth. I really wonder why he let Amon live which is something that even Amon is shown wondering about till date. During Donata's brief stare down with Akira, he says that she looks tastier unlike her father possibly pointing out that Mado and he encountered in the past.

So moving back to the main topic, Aogiri attacking the Cochlea. A complete massacre, like dead bodies flying everywhere, some of those are of Aogiri Tree's members but most are of humans. That scene where Tatara just throws away one of the ghoul investigator after killing him was plain badass, we don't know a lot about him, sure looks interesting. We also get to see Amon and Akira teaming up to kill all those ghouls who are released, while doing so they encounter the emotionally unstable, Naki. He looked like had the upperhand fighting against Akira while Amon was busy fighting other members but then Akira pulls off another quinque which stabs right through Naki's torso. In the end he gets to eat a part of Akira's leg before he's sent flying away by Amon, interesting build up between Amon and Akira here. Nashiro and Kurona are also inside Cochlea in search for their "brother" Kaneki when they encounter Suzuya who from what it looks pretty much know who these twins are but kinda surprised to see them turn into ghouls, does that mean they were humans like Kaneki before and were turned into ghoul artificially?

We have two more encounters in this episode, firstly Ayato encounters Shinohara, a really interesting point is laid out us in this scene. Shinohara's Arata or that special quinque that covers the body like a armor is made from Ayato and Touka's father! if I remember correctly but that's something which is not mentioned in the manga. Whoa, I mean we know the ghoul from which this was made from was once one of the strongest ghouls out there and that ghoul was their father? Shocking. Now, the second awesome encounter shown in this episode was between Kaneki and Shachi. Apparently Kankei came here to rescue him but he pretty much turned on him. We don't know much about Shachi, all we know is that he knows Rize and he's quick like super fast. During their awesome fight in which he pretty much out classed Kaneki and threw him far away, crashing through walls, Eto, outta nowhere comes there and asks Shachi if he wants to see Rize, what does that mean exactly? Is she referring to Kaneki or is Rize alive and captured by Aogiri tree? So many questions!

Coming towards the end of this review, we finally get to see Kaneki turn into his Centipede-Chan mode! After Shachi throws him away, he is shown lying there in despair of his weakness and inability to protect Hide, Touka etc, so in order to overcome that, he turns into centipede mode. Though we only got a glimpse of it, I was fanboying all over the place. Hype, pure hype for the next episode, can't wait! Good episode overall, really digging the beautiful artwork of the ending credits. Another thought came to mind after watching this episode, what do CCG feed these ghouls prisoners in Cochlea? What do you think? let me know in the comments below. Thank you for reading this anime review, have a wonderful day or night wherever you live! Links to this episode are available in download section

Assassination Classroom Episode 3 暗殺教室 Anime Review

Karma

My apologies as I was not aware this episode was out. I realized that after reviewing Durarara's new episode as I thought this series was on hold for this week or so due to ongoing ISIS problems. Apparently two Japanese people were taken in as hostages by the terrorist group and the reason why Assassination Classroom's airing was cancelled temporarily in Japan was because of the knife they use in this series being a very sensitive issue and to avoid any further complications. So basically the only reason why we have this episode is because of Australia's Funimation having connections as they got this episode prior to it going on hiatus. It's is really sad and I pray for whoever's family has been affected by the hostage situation and hope everything is sorted out as soon as possible.

So moving on to this week's episode, we are introduced to a new character, Karma (that name though) and he alone has made this series a lot more interesting that it already has been. Besides Koro-Sensei, he's definitely my favorite character so far of this series. He's probably the closest anyone came to killing Koro-Sensei and the way he is introduced to us just blew me away. At first he looked like a normal student smiling and all and then all of sudden he destroys's Koro-Sensei's hand (temporarily) during their handshake as he had parts of those special knife taped underneath, I didn't expect that and neither did Koro-Sensei, pure evil. Also to note that he is probably the only student so far who really wants to kill his teacher cause of his past.

So besides Karma's psychotic nature display we are given a little hindsight about his past. He once believed in his teacher only to be betrayed when he saved some class-e students from bullies and beat them up. That teacher promised Karma as shown earlier that he will always be on his side if he's doing the right thing and though Karma was doing the right thing, his teacher sided with those bully as one of those was one of their academy's brightest student or something and the injuries he got from Karma could affect his performance and in turn affect the teacher's reputation. The teacher also may have not sided with that class-e student probably cause again, something like that would hurt his reputation as he clearly stated in this episode that he doesn't care about those class-e students even if his students are doing something wrong to them and that's really screwed up cause basically he was putting his priority over what was right.

Besides that morale stuff, Koro-Sensei and Karma get over in the end, oh that suicide scene, Karma does have some balls and creativity which is something to look forward to in the future. So overall, another great episode, I'm really starting to get more into this series episode by episode cause besides the awesome plot, it also highlights the norms in our society. Thank you for reading this anime review, have a wonderful day or night wherever you live! Durarara!!x2 Shou Season 2 Episode 3 デュラララ!!×2 承 Anime Review

Ruri & Kasuka

That opening song (and ending credit's song) is starting to grow on me, I mean, I kinda had mixed reaction after I heard it for the first time thanks to those previous two openings of the last season setting out an ridiculous standards to overcome but now it's definitely growing on me. So moving on, this episode, a lot of set-up, plot building, story retelling from different prospective but it was how all of it was executed that makes this series so unique and well known for.

Basically, the majority of this episode was based on Shinra telling those mafias who he ended up caged in a black ball. We get some development on that murder case as it is revealed that the murderer was Ruri, who is introduced to us in this episode. We also find out that those mafias were actually looking for Ruri and not Celty. At the moment we don't know a lot about her but one thing is for sure, she is somehow like Celty when it comes to supernatural powers and stuff as Shinra mentioned about her healing powers in this episode. Besides that, she is very lonely and that somehow just links up with Shizou's brother, Kasuka who is revealed as someone who is very detached from the human society and takes up all the roles in movies and stuff and literally acts in them like put those personality masks on to feel human emotions which he lacks but when he is not acting he's like a robot, speaking with no emotions whatsoever.

So coming back to Ruri, she was born into a wealthy family but all of their wealth, her parents, their big house and basically everything was wiped out. Then she became a sensational Singing Idol ( Note that the song that she is shown singing in this episode is the same song which played when Mikado, Anri, Walker and Erika were at the karaoke booth. yeah, my ears pay to much attention I guess :P ), an famous make-up artist. Basically she's on roll. Last season, besides our star of the show Celty, we had Saika under supernatural human's list who was possessed by spirit and stuff and now we have Ruri, I really don't know what she is, like is she a zombie or something? I mean it's for sure she is not like Saika being possessed by a spirit or such cause she states that she is aware of what she is doing but she can't control herself, slash that she might be possessed by a spirit, we never know. Another interesting note that she said "them" during Kasuka and her scene so does that mean she targets only specific people? are there similar people like her around?

I said this in my previous episode's review but I'll say it again, those twins, some of the best new characters I've seen so far this season. They kiss each other, have opposite personalities, create a wonderful atmosphere around them, what else do you want? Oh don't forget they're are ridiculously dangerous. Coming towards the end of this review, we finally get to see my man, Semyon! I missed this guy so much. Apparently Egor, who was an old alley of the manager or the owner of that Russian Shushi restaurant back in Russia was hired by Shinra's father to apprehend a certain woman, Ruri cause he, Shinra's father is shown to have interest in all of such bizarre and mystical cases like that of Celty. We are also shown the return of yellow scarf as they approach Mikado plus, various bike gangs chasing Celty to capture her and get the bounty. So many arcs!

Overall an enjoyable episode, some might feel it's rushed but this cour only has 12 episode so it's likely to be rushed a bit but again, as long as they can maintain the same level of brilliance last season had then I suppose there's no problem. What do you think? let me know in comments below. Thank you for reading this anime review, have a wonderful day or night wherever you live! Links to this episode are available in download section

Aldnoah.Zero Season 2 Episode 3 アルドノア・ゼロ Anime Review

SLAINE'S MASTER-PLAN

Before I start reviewing this episode, I would like to mention two point that I forgot to mention in my last review, when Slaine got that kiss from Princess Lemrina, he had a colorful glow so this is just something that I think, maybe that kiss gave Slaine something more than just Aldnoah drive. During his encounter with Inaho, Slaine was able to dodge his missiles or bullets and that pattern in which he dodge those also had that same colorful glow. Secondly, Inaho is expressing more emotions in this season so far than the previous one. There's another interesting point that I would like to mention, I love the Opening theme song, so I went ahead and watched it again and saw something that really surprised me. At the very start of the opening song, we are shown a glimpse of the moon's surface and if you look closely, it has wrecks of Slaine and Inaho's mechs! Does that mean one or both of them will die in the future? So with that off my chest, lets move on to the episode.

Slain, a freaking genius. Honestly I never saw that coming, everything that's been happening ever since that "why Slaine why?" scene from last season's finale was his whole set-up or master-plan to achieve this. Right after Saazbaum shockingly declares him as his son or foster son clearly showing us that now he completely trusts Slaine only for it to backfire. Basically Slaine just used Saazbaum and once he got what he wanted, he got rid of him.  When Slain's servant, Harklight said "you are one step closer to your goal" after Saazbaum's shocking announcement, I just knew Slaine was up to something, I'll get to that soon but before that lets discuss some other stuff. At the start of the episode we get to see some of Inaho's new abilities as he pulls off some good moves in chess against Magbaredge revealing that now he can concentrate his brain cells to specifically focus on a particular task, that's pretty awesome. Besides that we get to see Inaho vs Slaine again, oh man I love when these two face off! At this point I'm not really sure whether Slaine's ability to predict the direction of missiles etc is something he got from Princess Lemrina's kiss or it's something his mech has. I also like how Terran's mech use space asteroids as a leverage to pull themself kinda similar to how spider-man shoots his web strings on buildings around him to move in his desire direction.

So coming back to the main topic, Slaine or Count Slaine now. He won Saazbaum's trust, used Inaho's abilities to weaken Saazbaum and ultimately betrayed him by getting rid of him to start his rebellion to save and avenge Princess Asseylum and change the world they live in for people like Harklight and others who belong to lower class, very interesting. At this point we really can't predict his actions I mean who knows if he starts killing other Counts or starts a completely different group which is neither on Terran or Martian's side. This whole shocking betrayal just opens up to whole new theories but basically its safe to say that he is against and not against Earth at the same time. One thing is for sure, he's smart enough to plan his future moves.

Overall a very enjoyable episode, the CGI animation was superb, really looking forward to more of Inaho vs Slaine though it's little too early for them to square off. Music, brilliant as always. Thank you for reading this anime review, have a wonderful day or night wherever you live! Thoughts? let me know in the comments below. Death Parade Episode 3 デス・パレード Anime Review

 WAS IT A HAPPY ENDING?

It looks they'll continue to show us a complete arc between two guests per episode unless there's a story development about the whole place, bartenders etc cause we still have a lot of unanswered questions. I honestly don't mind this as long as they can keep up the uniqueness between the guests shown in each episode and so far, they're doing an amazing job. So this time we got a college student and a girl who works at a local bowling  alley. As shown at the start of the episode before that epic OP kicks in, from what it looked like is that they both use to play together when they were kids but apparently Shigeru, the boy, can't seem to remember her name though its at the end of the episode when all the pieces starts falling in their places and we find out the real story. Last time we had darts and this time we have Bowling. Both of them have to play with bowling balls which have pulses of their hearts embedded in it. The twist? they have to use not their own but each other's balls so basically when the boy hold the bowling ball having the heart and pulse of the girl, he can feel her heart beats and warmness. I honestly thought this was not as amusing as last time but I soon realize that it had significance which I'll explain soon.

Shigeru only seems to remember that he was travelling by a bus on his way back from college while the girl doesn't seem to remember anything at all, not even her name. From the very start when these two characters met, Shigeru seemed interested in her and was willing to play the game even though his life was at stake to help her remember her name as Decim promised they'll eventually remember everything as the game finishes. There's no pain involved in this game unlike last time and it was surprising to see how both the guest played the game happily, cheering each other on. As they both came towards the end, they started to get their memories back, now this is where those bowling balls play a significant role. As Shigeru remembers everything, his heart starts to beat rapidly and the girl felt that when her turn came. But its their reaction after they found out the truth that really surprised me and Decim as well. Another interesting note is that they've already decided who was going to win as the girl was going to pull off a gutter.

I'm not really sure about this but that girl might have taken that job to work at the bowling alley cause as we all know had crush on Shigeru since they were kids and he often visited that place. Back when Shigeru and that girl were kids, they had another friend who use to play with them, a girl by the name of Chisato who moved or shifted away back then. Shigeru apparently liked Chisato and that girl (guest) liked him, a classic love triangle. But after Chisato moved away, that girl started to fall further way from Shigeru and so to catch his attention, she decided to perform a plastic surgery which would make her look like how Chisato would have probably looked by her age. Mid way through the game Shigeru thinks she is Chisato (and even that girl thinks likewise) and ask her out on a date once the game is over. The fact that both of them were dead came first to Shigeru and he also found out the truth about this girl that one his friends told him back at the bowling alley. Now this is the best part, even after he remembers everything and realizes that she is not Chisato (even she realizes that) and that they both were involved in an bus accident, he still asks her out on a date cause he realizes how much she loves him as she went through those surgeries just to catch his attention, beautiful. They both were in tears as she found out he was asking her out even after he knew the truth. After the game ends, their request to have some time for a date is granted. And after the date is over, they say goodbye to each other for the last time and enter their respective lifts.

Overall a beautiful and emotional episode, completely different from those previous two. The art style and animation was really good. We also get to see some developments of Onna, still a lot about her is yet to be revealed. I really don't know which one of them is going to haven or hell and honestly it's really hard to even guess that from how much we know so far. What do you think? let me know in the comments below. Thank you for reading this anime review, have a wonderful day or night wherever you live! Tokyo Ghoul √A Episode 3 東京喰種√A Anime Review

THE SYMBOLISM

Before I dive into this episode, I would like add something that I forgot to mention in my last review. As we all know, this whole season is set in an alternate universe or based on original manuscripts of Ishia'-Sensei but, (Don't worry, no spoilers ahead) some parts are exactly similar to the manga. For instance the way Akira is introduced to us etc so it's gonna be really interesting to see how much of such similarity this season will have to the manga and will the ending be same as well?

So with that off my chest, lets move on to the actual episode. What a big story progression we had in this episode like whoa! Still it didn't feel like it was rushed at all, that's a sign of good directing. Like I predicted in the last episode, Kaneki along with his fellow Aogiri members were going to ambush those police vehicles to rescue some ghoul, and it was Naki, Jason's right hand man. A quick note before I go any further, all my Tokyo Ghoul √A reviews will be completely based on this season's point of view and not the manga to avoid anyone getting spoiled who have yet to read that masterpiece. Naki is shown as someone who was very deeply attached to Jason and his death has just made him an emotional wreck. As Aogiri tree ambush those vehicles, Kaneki along with Ayato rescue Naki. Suddenly, Kurano and Nashiro attack Kankei from what looked like something just to check his abilities. As revealed in their very short appearance in this episode, they're both one-eyed ghouls like Kaneki. Later Hinami is shown going alone to the Takatsuki's book signing oppose to what actually was planned. Touka and Hinami were to suppose to go together but from what it look like, Hinami is trying to become independent. Later Nishio takes Touka to Kimi university so that she could have a look at it as she is going to apply for it. This is where Touka meets Hide, who was taking down all Kaneki's wanted posters.

Symbolism is one of the best things about this season, from the snow fall that took place in the first episode symbolising loneliness and so on. In this episode Hide tells that Kaneki once took part in a play and had a main character role and he was superb in it. He reveals that when Kaneki is lying or hiding something, he puts his hand under his chin as shown in this pic, remember this, trust me. Hinami meets Takatsuki during the book signing where she is getting her autograph on one of her books as a present for Kaneki. Takatsuki seems really interested in Kaneki from how she reacted in this scene. Strikingly similar to how Eto was, really interesting.

Moving on, Takizawa is shown talking to Hide about this Ghoul prison called Cochlea, a isolation chamber for S and SS rated ghouls. Also an interesting note that there used to be more of such groups like Aogiri in the past. They are soon interrupted by Akira who by the looks of it had some intuition about Hide. Other than that Shuzuya gets her new quinque made from Jason at Ghoul research facility. Later we get to see Naki again, going all crazy and crying over Jason's death, trying to write Yamori with crayons but he could't. That's when Kaneki helps him and shows him how to write it. He later thanks Kaneki by saying "You're a good guy", oh the irony here.
Just when I thought we haven't seen Tsukiyama lately he appears outta nowhere disguised as one of the Aogiri members who were discussing a rumor about Kaneki being an cannibal. Tsukiyama always wanted to eat Kaneki and now that he is a cannibal, Kaneki has even more ''flavour'' and is ''spicier'', basically he can't wait to eat him. Banjo and his group are also present with Tsukiyama and it looks like they're searching for Kaneki or trying to get some info related to him. Coming towards the end of this episode, it is shown that CCG have come to an conclusion that one of their targets ''Eye-patch'' is somehow related to that incident that took place a couple of months back where some organs from the girl who died in that accident were transplanted into him without his consent and both that boy and the doctor who performed that operation are missing.

Symbolism strikes yet again after that scene. Touka tells Hinami at the start of this episode that not to discuss anything about Kaneki as he is no longer a part of Anteiku knowing how deeply Hinami is attached to him. Now this is the best part, this is entirely my point of view and I can be wrong, she says he doesn't fit to be a star of the play as Hide told her before maybe because as we all know Kaneki's whole life up till now has been constantly filled with pain and tragedy. I don't know if I'm correct but this really is sad to see how things turn up for Kaneki. Before the awesome credits' video hits (which again has beautiful new sketches) we are shown that Kaneki and Ayato staring over the Cochlea, that ghoul isolation chamber, in what looks like another ghoul rescue mission. Amazing episode, I'm really starting to like this plot more than the manga's plot! This episode didn't feel like a 24 min episode at all not to mention that superb background music. Thank you for reading this anime review, have a wonderful day or night wherever you live! Durarara!!x2 Shou Season 2 Episode 2 デュラララ!!×2 承 Anime Review

Izaya's twin sisters

If I was one of the character in this series and saw what those sisters did or even heard it from my colleagues, I would stay away as far as possible from them, I'm not joking, those sisters are ridiculously dangerous! The fact that Izaya had little twin sisters was revealed in one of the bonus episodes from previous season. As weird as they looked back then, a lot about them was revealed in this episode, some pretty bizarre stuff.

Izaya is shown discussing about his twin sister, Mairu and Kururi with Namie as she found out they joined the same high school in which Mikado and Sonohara are. He said that those twins had same personality before but they decided to change and take on different personalities. It's just like a person having two personality is split into two different people to tackle various situations and problems. Mairu or Mai for short is shown as a bookworm and talkative person while her sister, Kururi or Kyo for short is shown wearing gymnastics outfit which makes her stand out among others (Is that even allowed in schools?) and is shy and soft-spoken as oppose to her twin. Both of them are big fans of Kasuka, that famous movie actor and brother of my man, Shizou. What surprised me during this scene was that Izaya doesn't like them.

So what's so scary about those twin sisters? They are athletic as in they can fight anyone or at least Mairu is as shown in that bonus episode as well as this episode. So, some bullies wrote some bad stuff on Mairu's desk, she confronted those bullies by chasing them, taking one of those girls down, held her mouth wide open, took a box consisting thumbtacks and threatened her to tell who was the leader. If that girl hadn't told her in time, Mairu would really have dropped those thumbtacks in her mouth (which almost happened but Mairu caught them), luckily that girl, in tears by now ratted out. Just imagine those thumbtacks going down your throat and piercing everything inside, it's so bizarre that It's unimaginable! Not to mention her Sister, Kururi framed those bullies by placing some drugs in their bags. She also placed and triggered a fire bomb or something in one of their bags! Just when I though Izaya was enough, his twin sisters are even more dangerous! We all know how Izaya is, he doesn't get directly involved in anything, yes, he pulls all the strings but doesn't get his hands dirty while his twin sisters are complete opposite, they don't care about anything.

Besides all that madness, I'm not really sure about this but it kinda looks like Shinra's father was the owner of Saika (that katana) before Sonohara. If that's true then man, that's a big plot twist. Also some Mafias broke into Shinra's house where he was caged in that black ball or something and was pretty much helpless. From what it looks like is that guy who Shinra's father was shown talking to is somehow involved in this. I wonder if those Mafias will do anything to Shinra and if they really do, Celty is gona be pissed and trust me, you don't wana piss off a Dullahan headless rider! We also get to see some Shizou action! even if it was just a small part, it was worth it. Now all we have left is to see Semyon! man I miss his "Russian Sushi, cheap Sushi, tasty Sushi" catchphrase! Hope to see him in future.

Another character is introduced to us who will likely play a important role in future, Aoba. He seems smart and cunning, besides he is a member of Dollars. It looks like Kururi has some feelings for him as well. Overall, another enjoyable episode from this series, we are yet to see any developments on that murder case from previous episode. Thank you for reading this anime review, have a wonderful day or night wherever you live! Aldnoah.Zero Season 2 Episode 2 アルドノア・ゼロ Anime Review

 iNAHO'S LEFT EYE

This series just keeps on getting better and better by each episode! The opening, pure eargasm! I suppose that opening song was played during the ending credits of the previous episode but none the less, it's now the opening and what a opening it is, beautiful, really sets out the perfect atmosphere for viewers. Moving on to the episode, it looks like the King or Vers Rayvers is not yet aware that his granddaughter, Princess Asseylum is in comma or similar state as Princess Lemrina, introduced to us in the previous episode is shown in her Asseylum's avatar talking to him. So that means Saazbaum who first told Vers Rayvers that his granddaughter was assassinated is now lying to him that she is alive, interesting.

This episode had one particular scene which was really confusing. Slaine was not able to start his mecha with his Aldnoah drive he obtained from Princess Asseylum as Princess Lemrina deactivated it. So Slaine requested her to activate it but she refused it and said that he is only using her for her Aldnoah drive which Slaine bluntly accepted. A very interesting fact is also revealed to us during this scene that Princess Lemrina is actually step-sister of  Princess Asseylum and basically she envies and hates her sister as she got more attention than her. So Slaine consoles her by stating that even he went through tough times as he was a Terran. In the end, she kisses him and now he can activate Aldnoah drive again, what the? After all that saga, Saazbaum and his battleship along with Slaine are shown heading towards Trident Base  to destroy it. Inaho and others had already arrived there beforehand.

That battle or war, whichever you find suiting, was the first time Slaine and Inaho encountered each other after events of previous season's finale. Before even encountering Slaine, Inaho just single handedly destroyed most of the enemy's so called Stygis Plantoon with pin point accurate shooting that none of his colleagues could do. Inoah was the smartest of them all, first season pretty much showed that a lot of times but now that he has this new eyeball, he is even better than he ever was! As the threat increases towards the main battleship, Slaine enters the battlefield to act as a decoy only to encounter his nemesis who he thought was dead, epic!

That whole battle scene was brilliantly done, the music created an amazing atmosphere that sucked viewers in and as usual the animation throughout the episode was top notch. We are yet to see the entire fight between our main protagonist and antagonist which we'll probably get to see next week. Besides that I wanted to discuss two things before I end this review, firstly, Inaho is shown investigating the speech that Princess
Asseylum gave which declared war on Earth, and he seemed to have come to the conclusion that she was not the real princess based on her stress levels during that speech. Secondly, the opening, from how it looked, are they really trying to set up a love triangle between Inaho-Slaine-Asseylum? It might sound stupid but we never know. Thank you for reading this anime review, have a wonderful day or night wherever you live! Thoughts? let me know in the comments below.

Death Parade Episode 2 デス・パレード Anime Review

 THE REAL TWIST

Holy Shit! Who would have expected such a twist! I'll get to that part but before that, this episode opens with Nonaginta (Nona) welcoming Onna and introducing her to Decim. Then, we are shown a recap of the events which took place in last episode from Nonaginta and Onna's point of view as they observed the entire bizarre series of events from behind the scenes. This episode also gives us a little hindsight about most of the mysteries surrounding this bar. It is revealed that Decim (and others?) pass the judgement on wether who'll go to haven (reincarnation) and Hell (void) based on the player's memories and the extent of humanity they display during the game, so basically Decim, Nonaginta etc are arbiters who receive the memories in a complied form and judge the guests as they play the game with life at stake.

The truth
The dead bodies which were hanging in the first episode are actually dummies or mannequins present only to scare the participants so that they'll play the game in fear and life on the line. The participants are not aware that they're dead because the shock of dying makes everyone forget that they are even dead, sounds oddly satisfying. By some of the comments made by Nonaginta, it seems that Decim and others are not really humans. Anyway moving on, as Onna and Nonaginta observe the game from the balcony, this is where the real twist starts to set in. After the game is finished and Decim makes his decision, the ladies meet him. Onna discusses her point of view about the whole incident. She comes to the conclusion that the wife, Machiko was play acting in the end to reduce the burden of her husband, Takashi of the fact that he killed his unborn child, even if it means to harm her character. WTF? Just when I thought that the previous episode had enough twist, we are left with the biggest of them all! Machiko did that whole act to lessen Takashi's grief and lied about the child not being his cause of her fondness for her love, Takashi. A big hats off to whoever came up with all this, brilliant.

Decim seemed to accept Onna's point of view and so did Nonaginta but she later said that Takashi couldn't trust others and such person will never find happiness in his life so though Onna's theory seems proper it's still not sure as to who was really right. Onna will be Decim's assistant from now on so it's gona be really interesting to see how they both come to conclusions from their point of view in future episodes. On a side note, when Onna and Nonaginta were travelling by train at the start, there were many other bartenders plus, Nonaginta said 15th floor specifically so does that mean there are other such bars? really interesting set-up. As usual the animation was superb and overall a superb episode, looks like we'll have new guests next week. Thank you for reading this anime review, have a wonderful day or night wherever you live! Thoughts? let me know in the comments below.

Assassination Classroom Episode 2 暗殺教室 Anime Review

A STRANGE PROMISE

This week's episode kicks off with another assassination attempt by the students on their teacher, in which they fail again. Assassination Classroom has many characters and though their development has yet to be start, it some how begins with Sugino in this episode. He is shown as someone who has a lot of interest in baseball and though he might not be as good as his idol, Koro-sensei is shown encouraging him and telling that he might even surpass his baseball idol. This really shows how much Koro-sensei cares about his students.

In previous episode Koro-sensei was shown talking to woman, presumably someone who he loved and made a promise to, at this moment its not sure what exactly the promise was but it certainly involves that taking his students seriously. We are also shown a small glimpse of someone who looked like the head of the government body concerning this creature, and even that person seemed to give more priority to those student's studies, interesting.

Moving on to the most important part of this episode, the irony. This episode shows how Class-E is seen by others, a class of failures and losers. The best part is that advertisement about the Academy which talks about equality but in reality its discrimination against a certain branch of students. For example Sugino was kicked out from baseball club after he was moved to Class-E so that he could focus more on studies. But after the students came close to killing Koro-sensei in a very funny scene, the students celebrated joyously. Though they failed but came mighty close to something they thought was impossible! Though being classified as losers, they were more happier than those at the academy who were in constant struggle to excel to avoid moving to Class-E. I really like how this was executed.

At the end of the episode we are introduced to another student who was suspended for reasons unknown to us. His suspension is about to get over and he'll be shifted to Class-E and join the assassins. From how this whole part was set up, he is likely to be our main Protagonist but either way, he seemed interested in this whole idea of killing the teacher. Another interesting note is that our main character, Nagisa is shown taking notes about any peculiarity or weakness of Koro-sensei, I'm sure that's gona come in handy in the near future. Overall, an awesome episode, lots of funny scenes and plot development, certainly on the right track for surprise of this season. Thank you for reading this anime review, have a wonderful day or night wherever you live!
